Everyone that plays WoW is excited tonight with the release of a new patch, myself included.
In normal people language: nerd nerd nerd nerd, nerdy nerdity nerd. Nerd.
Also: I now have a tripod.

The last of my "Don’t" series of photos. You can find the other two here: www.flickr.com/photos/haggismac/5015722365/in/set-7215762… and www.flickr.com/photos/haggismac/5027302428/in/set-7215762…
I couldn’t help but think of Pan’s Labyrinth while I was setting up this shot. 2/3 in a series, first part was here: photos.dailyhaggis.com/2010/09/22/no-silence/
Wanted to do something a little surreal this time, so inspired by some other (more intense and slightly frightening) photos using the same concept I threw together this comp. While editing this one I had another idea that will likely be put together over the next few days. This is inspiration that I can enjoy.
Some of my self portraits lately have been a little.. intense. I wanted to take a photo of me looking happy for a change.
I was at a bit of a loss as to what to shoot tonight. I took some pictures of the candle flame but they all ended up kinda blurry. I took this self portrait just to see the lighting, and although it came out looking a little scary, I still really liked the shadows. No artificial coloring of the eyes this time.
Oh and if you are confused by the title, my nickname is Haggis. I’ve had it since around 2002 and even have a blog titled after it.(http://dailyhaggis.com)
My first serious self portrait. I added a little subtle blue back to my eyes in an otherwise two color photograph.
